- 4 oz Prosciutto, diced
For the Sausage Patty:
- 1 pound Breakfast Sausage, ground
- 1 slice of your favorite Cheese
Instructions:
For the Egg Patties:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine the shredded Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Pour the mixture evenly into a 4-inch round silicone baking mold.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the egg is firm and set.
- Remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly.
For the Chaffle Bun:
- Heat a mini griddle.
- In a bowl, combine the shredded Colby Jack cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and diced prosciutto. Mix until everything is fully incorporated.
- Pour half of the mixture into the preheated mini griddle.
- Cook for 4-6 minutes or until the chaffle bun is golden brown and starting to get crispy.
- Repeat the process to make a second chaffle bun.
For the Sausage Patty:
- Divide the ground breakfast sausage into four equal portions.
- Take each portion of sausage and shape it into a patty.
- Place a skillet or frying pan on the stove over medium heat. If your sausage is very lean, you may want to add a small amount of cooking oil to prevent sticking.
- Once the pan is hot, carefully place the sausage patties in the pan.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until both sides are browned, and the patties are no longer pink in the center.
- Place a slice of your favorite cheese on top of each sausage patty while they are still in the pan and allow it to melt.
Assemble the Carnivorized Sausage and Egg McGriddle:
- Take one of your chaffle buns and place a sausage patty with melted cheese on top.
- Add an egg patty on top of the sausage.
- Finish with the second chaffle bun.
- Serve your delicious Carnivorized Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddle with the unique Prosciutto Chaffle Bun. Enjoy!
