Ingredients:

For the Chicken Patties:

  • 1 lb Ground Chicken

For the Bacon:

  • 4 strips of bacon

For the Ranch Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk or regular milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh baby dill, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice to taste, approximately 1-3 teaspoons (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ranch Dressing:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk (or regular milk), fresh dill, dried parsley, dried chives, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
    • Squeeze fresh lemon juice into the mixture, starting with 1 teaspoon and adjusting to your taste. Mix well and set the ranch dressing aside.
  2. Form Chicken Patties:
    • Divide the ground chicken into 8-ounce portions and shape them into patties. You can make them to your preferred size and thickness.
  3. Cook the Bacon:
    • In a separate pan or on the grill, cook the bacon until it’s crispy. Once cooked, set the bacon aside.
  4. Grill the Chicken Patties:
    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
    • Place the chicken patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice grill mark. Ensure that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) to ensure they are fully cooked.
  5. Add Cheese and Assemble:
    • When the chicken patties are nearly done, add a slice of your favorite cheese on top of each patty and close the grill to let it melt.
  6. Assemble the Burger:
    • Place the cheese-covered chicken patty on a bun or lettuce wrap, if you prefer to go low-carb.
    • Drizzle a generous amount of the prepared ranch dressing on top of the patty.
    • Add two strips of bacon on top of the ranch dressing.
  7. Finish and Serve:
    • Place the other half of the bun on top or wrap the lettuce if you’re going low-carb.
    • Serve your delicious Chicken Bacon and Ranch Burger hot and enjoy!

This burger combines the juicy goodness of ground chicken, the rich flavor of bacon, and the cool, tangy taste of homemade ranch dressing. It’s a satisfying and flavorful option for those following a carnivore or animal-based diet.
