Bacon Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Hot Dog with a Carnivore Bun

Ingredients:

For the Carnivore Bun:

  • 2 tbsp Butter, Melted
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Pork Rinds, Ground
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese

For the Hot Dog:

  • 2 Hot Dogs
  • 5 Strips of Bacon
  • Cheese (for stuffing)
  • Cheese (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Carnivore Bun:
    • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
    • In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, eggs, ground pork rinds, and shredded Parmesan cheese.
    • Pour the mixture into a silicone baguette mold to create the bun shape.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the bun is firm and slightly golden.
  2. Cook the Bacon:
    • At the same time place the bacon strips on a foil-lined baking sheet and also bake them in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. This will partially cook the bacon.
  3. Prepare the Hot Dogs:
    • While the bun and bacon are baking, take your hot dogs and make a slit in each one with a sharp knife.
    • Stuff the hot dogs with cheese, filling the slit.
  4. Wrap the Hot Dogs with Bacon:
    • Remove the carnivore bun and the partially cooked bacon from the oven.
    • Remove excess grease from the bacon.
    • Lay the bacon strips down and wrap them around the stuffed hot dogs, securing them in place with toothpicks.
    • Place the bacon-wrapped hot dogs back in the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  5. Assemble and Serve:
    • Take the carnivore bun out of the oven and let it cool for a moment.
    • Cut the bun in half and then cut it lengthwise to form a bun.
    • Remove the bacon-wrapped hot dogs from the oven, place cheese over the top, and melt the cheese with a kitchen torch.
    • Place the cheesy bacon-wrapped hot dogs inside the bun and serve immediately.
