Carnivore Meatloaf Recipe: A Delicious and Nutrient-Packed Dish

Welcome back to my carnivore kitchen! Today, I’m excited to share a mouthwatering Carnivore Meatloaf recipe that’s not only delicious but also aligns perfectly with our animal-based diet. Whether you’re a seasoned carnivore enthusiast or just starting your journey, this recipe will satisfy your taste buds and keep you fueled for your fitness goals. Let’s dive right in!

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs 80/20 Ground Beef
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Cup Pork Rind Crumbs
  • 2 tbsp Minced Onion
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (190°C). This ensures that your carnivore meatloaf cooks evenly and develops a flavorful crust.
  2. Prepare the Meat Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the 2 lbs of 80/20 Ground Beef, 1 large egg, 1 cup of pork rind crumbs, 2 tbsp minced onion, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp black pepper. Use your hands to gently mix the ingredients together. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatloaf tough.
  3. Shape the Meatloaf: Transfer the meat mixture onto a baking sheet or a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Shape it into a loaf shape, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  4. Bake to Perfection: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). You can use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. This ensures that your meatloaf is safe to eat.
  5. Rest and Serve: Once your carnivore meatloaf is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a moist and flavorful result.
  6. Slice and Enjoy: After the brief resting period, slice your meatloaf into hearty portions. Serve it with your favorite carnivore-friendly sides, such as steamed broccoli, sautéed spinach, or a simple salad.
  7. Optional Toppings: Feel free to enhance your carnivore meatloaf with optional toppings like melted butter or ghee for added richness.

Conclusion: There you have it – a delectable Carnivore Meatloaf recipe that’s perfect for anyone following an animal-based diet. This dish is rich in protein, low in carbs, and bursting with flavor. 1. Looks amazing! Just started following you on X. Crazy question…….what pork rinds do you use?

  2. I’ve used a couple brands but my favorite BY FAR have been the Epic Baked Pink Himalayan ones. They are the least, “porky” tasting, for lack of a better term.
